Reversing Camera Options

A camera needs some sort of screen for the image to be displayed on. The cameras themselves are pretty universal. There are a few different options of cameras but we’ll get to them in a minute.

Utilising The Existing System

If your vehicle, whether it be old or new, already has a colour screen as part of the infotainment system, chances are we can plug a reversing camera into it. Unfortunately its rarely as simple as just plugging the camera in but that’s where our knowledge and experience comes in. We have access to the hardware and software that will provide the link between a camera and your existing screen.

Upgrading The Existing System

This option is our favourite and is a great one for older vehicles. In most cases we can install an aftermarket touchscreen radio in your vehicle. Not only does this give us an excellent quality screen to display the camera image but it also provides an array of other features that will improve your driving experience.

Standalone Screens

What if your vehicle doesn’t have an existing screen and is unsuitable for a touchscreen radio upgrade? Or you are just looking for a more affordable way of adding a reversing camera? Replacement or clip on mirrors with a screen built in or larger screens that can be used to display multiple cameras at once. We can even fabricate custom mounting solutions to suit your particular vehicle.
