Power And Control

The Tiguan R-Line has VW’s brilliant Discover Pro touchscreen. When integrating a new sound system with the factory source unit, a DSP (Digital Sound Processor) Amplifier allows us full control over the sound, to match the new speakers to the factory mounting locations, the car’s interior acoustics, and of course the preferences of the listener. Audison’s Prima AP4.9 Bit DSP Amplifier not only gives us full computer control over the sound system, but also packs 520 watts of power into a tiny package, installed discreetly under the passenger seat. With our wiring harness, the amplifier connects to the Tiguan without any permanent modification to the car’s wiring.

Serious Midbass

We’ve utilised the factory speaker locations without adding an extra subwoofer with DLS’s RC6.2 component sets – a pair for the front doors, and a pair for the rear. Using two pairs like this allows for consistent sound throughout the car, and improved dynamics to overcome road noise with responsive, full bass. The 6.5″ midbass drivers are mounted on bespoke factory-fit mounts built in-house, with the tweeters occupying their factory brackets.

Peace Of Mind

We’ve also fitted a Blackvue DR900S 4K Ultra-HD two channel dash cam for drive recording. Blackvue’s Power Magic Pro means the cameras can also keep an eye on the car while parked. All connections are made at the factory fuse panel, and wiring run underneath factory covers.
